Tropical Chia and Oat Pot
A breakfast prepared the night before brings such pleasure in the morning when you're tired and really not in the mood to be making any decisions about food.
You can use whatever fruits you have to hand, top with little yoghurt or peanut butter, nuts or seeds...your imagination can go a little wild.
Recipe & Instructions
1 tbsp chia seeds
2 tbs jumbo oats
1 tbsp diced mixed frozen fruit (see Tesco's breakfast topper in the Blog for my favourite)
4 tbsp any milk you like
1 tsp of any other seeds, such as sesame, pumpkin or sunflower, or a mix.
Mix all of the ingredients together in a mug to combine well and then pour into a pretty glass ready for the morning. Cover with clingfilm and leave in the fridge.
You could just stir this and serve in the morning, but if you have an extra minute of so, top with yoghurt seeds, drizzle of honey, extra fruit, grated apple, banana slices..the choice is yours!
