Kefir Cornflakes
Description
Kefir? Fermentation at it's sweetest and what a breakfast! Full of protein and calcium and billions of gut friendly bacteria. Forget the more tame "breakfast drinks" out there full of sugar - this is the real thing and perfect to give your stomach a treat. Soaking cornflakes in this wonderful stuff, adds some comfort and texture - feel free to top with whatever fruits/nuts you like.
Recipe & Instructions
Ingredients
- 100ml Kefir
- 2 tablespoons Cornflakes
- 1tablespoon Blueberries
- 1 tablespoon Jumbo Oats (toasted if time!)
- 1 teaspoon Mixed Seeds
- 1/2 chopped Banana (could be a kiwi, apple, peach, melon, whatever is in the fridge?)
Mix the Kefir and Cornflakes together and set aside in a small bowl. Toast the oats and sprinkle over the top. Place the banana and blueberries over the top and sprinkle over the seeds.
