Sticky Ginger Salmon
Description
If you don't like fish, this may convert you! Quite meaty, sweet and sticky, it really doesn't seem like a fish recipe at all!
Recipe & Instructions
Ingredients
- 4 salmon steaks
- 1 stem ginger ball in syrup, shredded
- 1 tbsp syrup from the jar
- 2 garlic cloves, finely chopped
- 2 tbsp dark soy sauce
- 1 orange, juice and zest
- 1/2 red chilli finely chopped
- 1/2 teaspoon olive oil
Place all the ingredients in to a non metallic dish and leave to marinade over night if possible (or for as long as you have).
When ready to eat, remove salmon from marinade and put on a greased baking sheet. Bake at 180C for 15-16 minutes. Pour the marinade in to a small saucepan and heat until boiling. Steam some chinese leaf vegetable and brown rice if liked? Serve with the salmon, with the marinade drizzled over.
